The aim of this COST Action E31 is the improvement of the management of recovered wood towards a higher common technical, economical and environmental standard in Europe. The 2nd conference of this action in Bordeaux focus on strategic aspects to aim for a higher European standard of recovered wood management. The main objectives of this conference are to summarize: - Market aspects of recovered wood - Characteristics and standardization of recovered wood - Strategies for increasing the amount of recovered wood - Design aspects for wooden products foe a sustainable end-of use strategy.
