Antonakos: New Wall Works

Since the 1970s, I have been placing linear geometric neon forms on specific walls in response to their scale and proportions. With the New Wall Works it is the walls themselves which have been constructed and painted in response to the scale and proportions of the gallery space and those of the neon forms -- the incomplete circle, the incomplete square, the interrupted line and the projecting incomplete square.
